Research Degrees Procedure Information

Welcome to the Faculty of Sciences Research Degrees web page. Here we have assembled a range of information designed to help research students and their supervisors understand the processes that govern the management of research degrees in the Faculty and provide on-line access to the regulations and the different pro-forma that are used to manage research degrees across the University. Alongside the regulatory and procedural information, you will also find a listing of the membership of the Research Degrees Committee, and students and supervisors are encouraged to contact the Committee members for their subject areas whenever advice and guidance is needed on matters of procedures or regulation. You will also find contact details for the members of the Faculty administration who help in the management of research degrees, as well as a calendar of meetings for both the Faculty and University Research Degrees Committees.
